Summary:

This position is accountable for performing quality CT/Diagnostic Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.

Education:

* Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology. 2-3 years pediatric CT experience preferred.


* Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy.


* Good interpersonal skills.


* Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress.



Certification/Licensure:

* Must be AART registered. 2.Must be AART (CT) registered or obtain registry within 18 months of hire.


* Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.


* AHA Certified.
