What You Will Do:

* Provides care for patients.
* Utilizes the nursing process.
* Incorporates evidence-based practice into daily patient care.
* Collects data to assist in the assessment of the patient.
* Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
* Documents patient care.
* Assists in instructing patient/family.
* Assists with discharge planning.
* Communicates with peers, other health team members, patients, and visitors.
* Utilizes guest relations.
* Maintains adaptability.
* Supports unit team.
* Reports problems and assists in resolving them.

What You Will Need:

* Must possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the State of Ohio.
* Ohio Board of Nursing Certification in Intravenous Therapy.
* Must be currently certified in CPR (and recertified bi-annually).
* Prefer minimum of one year's experience in pertinent clinical area. Nurses who do not meet this requirement must obtain experience through competency based orientation (CBO).
