Job Summary Responsible for providing specialized pharmaceutical services to include advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned hospital locations; and participate in the development and delivery of continuing education programs for Pharmacy, Patient Care Services, Medical staff and students. Education A Doctor of Pharmacy degree with completion of a clinical pharmacy residency is preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy Experience The individual should be familiar with and/or have experience in the administration and direction of clinical pharmacy services and be well versed in current concepts and principles of institutional pharmacy practice. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Must possess a current Pharmacy license issued by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy and a Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
