THE JOB

As a Fountain Worker at Starbucks inside of the iconic MGM Grand, you will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and exceptional service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us

THE STARTING PAY RATE $14.98/hr

THE DAY TO DAY

* Efficiently and accurately take and process customer orders, ensuring adherence to guests' preferences and any dietary requirements.


* Handle cash transactions following proper cash handling procedures and company policies.


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both front and back of house areas, including clearing tables, sweeping floors, and ensuring the overall appearance of the dining area.


* Garnish food and drinks as necessary, paying attention to presentation and aesthetics.


* Pack orders according to guests' preferences, including adding condiments as requested.


* Label and date products in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.


* Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of the establishment.


* Receive and unload warehouse orders, stocking products in designated storage areas while maintaining organization.


* Monitor stock levels and replenish products as needed in workstations, counters, and tables.


* Address guest complaints within the scope of authority, escalating issues to management when necessary.


* Report any unusual events, circumstances, or missing items to supervisor or security.


* Complete other job-related duties as requested



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

* An enthusiastic individual to join our diverse and unified team, working collaboratively to meticulously manage and execute tasks


* Prior barista and/or fountain worker experience is a plus


* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure


* Excellent communication and customer service skills


* Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail


* Proficiency in basic computer applications


* Positive attitude and a willingness to learn



WHAT YOU'LL NEED

* High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a similar role preferred.


* Nevada Food Handler's Safety Card


* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
