What Will You Do?

As a Paralegal at Federated Insurance, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team. You'll be involved in legal research, document preparation, case management, and more. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

* Conduct legal and factual research.
* Draft and distribute legal memorandums based upon legal research.
* Gather, organize and prepare draft responses to discovery requests and coordinate dates and testimony for depositions, meetings, hearings, and trials.
* Assist in the investigation of complaints.
* Assist Advanced Paralegal with coordination, preparation, and filing of Company license applications, supplemental requirements, and other corporate filing and regulatory matters.
* Assist with real estate lease review.
* Establish and maintain come-up systems for Corporate Legal Department files, meetings, and deadlines.
* Review and maintain Corporate Legal Department records, reports and billings for accuracy and proper handling.
* Handle bankruptcy intake and legal review process.

Minimum Requirements:

* Associate degree in Paralegal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* Competent in the utilization of Westlaw.
* An unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and/or personnel information.
