Retread Supervisor

Job Summary:

As a Retread Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the retreading process for tires, ensuring quality standards are met, and managing a team of retread technicians. You will work closely with the production team to schedule and prioritize work orders, maintain a safe work environment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in tire retreading is a plus
* Proven experience in tire retreading, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
* Strong knowledge of tire retreading equipment and processes
* Ability to interpret technical manuals and specifications
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Attention to detail and quality orientation

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and guide a team of retread technicians in the retreading process
* Ensure that retreaded tires meet quality standards and specifications
* Schedule work orders and provide daily direction to meet production goals
* Maintain inventory of retreading materials and supplies
* Train new technicians on retreading processes and safety protocols

* Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and efficiency
* Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on retreaded tires
* Handle any issues or concerns related to the retreading process in a timely manner
* Keep accurate records of production, inventory, and quality control metrics.
