Cashier/Receptionist

The schedule is up to 25 hours per week, including weekends.

 

Love working with people and staying active? The Chatham County Aquatic Center is seeking a part-time Cashier/Receptionist to join our team for a fun and dynamic season This 25-hour a week position is a perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience while working in a friendly environment.

* Receives cash and monitors memberships, daily users, and user groups. 
* Prepares reports for the closeout of monies, counts money quickly and accurately, and tabulates receipts. 
* Sells memberships to the public. 
* Assists members with making decisions based on their swimming needs and registers members for swimming or aerobics classes. 
* Uses a computer to perform data entry and general clerical duties. 
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* High School Diploma or GED, and 
* At least 18 years of age, and 
* A minimum of six (6) months of cashiering experience; or 
* any equivalent combination of training and experience. 
* First aid and CPR certifications are preferred. 
* Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills are preferred. 
* Must be proficient in basic computer skills. 
* Must be able to work a schedule that includes weekends.
