This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. Diagnose, service, repair and maintain trucks, busses, and all types of vehicles, diesel engines, and equipment. Serve as a bus driver, to include: Drive 30-passenger People Movers for University functions, including both interstate and intrastate events.

Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent, Formal training (specify) Other Education & Formal Training

Successful completion of Automotive Vocational School may be substituted for the required experience at a rate of 1 year training=1 year experience.

Computer Skills Other - Diagnostic Computer Software-vehicle, Basic computer skills Experience

1. Four years experience as an auto mechanic/diesel mechanic in an industrial or commercial setting as a seasoned trades person.

2. Experience repairing and servicing mowers preferred

3. One year bus driving preferred

Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Subject to random drug testing, Driver's license, Missouri license required, CDL license Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements

CDL License (Must be obtained within 60 days of hire)

Passenger Endorsement

Missouri Vehicle Inspection License required (Must be obtained within 60 days of hire)

removal equipment, lawn mowers, etc.

Travel required, including overnight and weekend out-of-state travel.

Snow equipment repairs may require a call-in and require working outdoors in inclement weather.

Wearing safety equipment, as needed.

Incumbent is responsible for supplying personal hand tools and tool box, as needed to perform duties.
