**Position** : Maintenance Inventory Specialist

**General Purpose:**

General Purpose: Performs all record keeping for inventory control of parts room, tools, machine components and expenses used by maintenance personnel. Provides day-to-day miscellaneous administrative and component purchasing support to maintenance as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Generates receivers for all incoming parts and verifies quality at time of delivery. Receives in stock and keeps parts room organized.

+ Pairs work orders with the correct part(s) in preparation for the assigned mechanic to retrieve and complete the work order.

+ Performs cycle counts each week in the parts room to verify accuracy of inventory. Counts material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies in stock and inputs data into system.

+ Monitors various expenses spent on each piece of equipment.

+ Assists with the maintaining and managing of the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure accurate and detailed information is stored and retrievable.

+ Updates and maintains the vendor list.

+ Understands and applies company safety policies, GMPs, and any other applicable regulations and programs.

+ Performs other responsibilities as determined by business needs.

**Required Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education and Experience**

+ 2-3 years related experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.

+ 2-3 years CMMS experience

**_Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_**

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Strong customer focus

+ Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, and within a team.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CMMS applications.

+ Reliable and ability to meet deadlines.

+ Detail-orientated, self-directed, computer skills, organized.

+ Team player

+ Proficient 10-key skills

+ Ability to research and resolve order related problems

**Licensing and Certification:**

+ Technical certifications preferred

**Physical Demands and Work Environment:**

+ Maintenance department environment

+ Required to sit/stand for periods of time

+ Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

**Percent Travel:**

+ Less than 5%
