Position Summary
Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full time Breast Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. This position offers a heavy concentration of Breast Imaging (at least 90%, and up to 100% for interested candidates). Candidates who are interested in maintaining proficiency with their non-subspecialty general diagnostic skills will have the option to partake in general diagnostic shifts and emergency call if they would like. The ideal candidate can expect a heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging including ultrasound, stereo and MRI guided breast biopsies. Our practice is fully 3D, including for stereotactic biopsies. A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists is required. This is a full time, 8am - 5pm, partnership track eligible position. If interested, candidates would the option of teaching the residents and fellows at the University of South Florida. This would not be required. We offer an excellent and highly competitive compensation package to include moonlighting opportunities, a full range of benefits, 8 weeks PTO, 401K and med mal. LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
RAF is the largest radiology practice in Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the Keys. Since our beginnings more than 50 years ago, we've enjoyed tremendous growth while keeping a commitment to superior service for our longtime partner hospitals. facilitating collaboration and consultation between our radiologists. Our state-of-the-art IT suite includes universal PACS across the practice, AI tools, and integrated doc-to-doc communication widgets.
Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

* Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and be residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
* Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
* Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
* MQSA Required
* FL Medical license or the ability to obtain a FL license is required
