General Manager Position

Responsibilities:

* Overseeing profit and loss by following cash control
* Maintaining inventory, scheduling labor, reviewing financials, and taking corrective action when needed
* Recruit, train and develop outstanding team members
* Conduct performance appraisals
* Manage McDonald's brand standards alongside our company policies and procedures

A successful General Manager candidate must have:

* PEOPLE skills. People (customers and employees) are the foundation of our business. General managers focus on the hiring, leading, and developing an amazing diverse group of PEOPLE.
* A LEADER attitude. A successful General Manager doesn't rest on his or her success. They always bring their best attitude into the restaurant. Freeman Enterprise, Inc. (dba McDonald's) organization is committed to its leadership running a profitable restaurant known for its cleanliness, being safe, and a positive working environment.

Qualifications:

* Management experience, at minimum - 3 years management running high-volume locations; McDonald's preferred
* Flexible scheduling around the needs of the restaurant. We operate restaurants at 363 days a year (CLOSED THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS DAY)
* A valid driver's license, must be 18 years or older to be a shift manager
* All applicants will be subject to a background check

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald's USA.
