Medical Laboratory Technician - PRN Premium

Job Summary: The Medical Lab Tech performs manual and automated routine blood tests. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes routine test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with patients, physicians, pathologists, staff and other individuals. Relies on guidelines and education to complete job and works under general supervision.

Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent as MLT. LSBME licensed as CLS, temporary license, or letter of pending permit issued by LSBME.
