Job Overview

Perform production work on a variety of press brakes loading and unloading parts and basic inspection to ensure quality of the parts. Will not be responsible for machine set up or tear down. Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Brake/Roll Operator #2 classification.

A Day In The Life

* Responsible for the quality of the parts produced.
* Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
* Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.

What will help you thrive in this role?

* Physically able to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift and carry, push and pull 30 lbs.
* Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
* Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
* Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.
