The Cardiac Monitor Tech works closely with a team of clinic staff including physicians and advanced level providers to ensure the delivery of cardiac ambulatory monitor testing. The Cardiac Monitor Tech duties include hook up and disconnect of monitors, receive and edit telephone transmissions, and tracking monitors.

Required Qualifications:

* Completion of Medical Assistant program Or 1 year experience as cardiac monitor or EKG/ECG technician
* Completion of basic EKG/ECG interpretation class 4
* Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualification:

* Some college
* Experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems
