Responsibilities
We are looking for a Board Certified OBGYN MD/DO with 4 years experience for our new OB Hospitalist program.
The OB Hospitalist will be responsible for:
* Management of labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians
* Urgent postpartum care as requested by the assigned physician
* Providing back-up and consultation for midwifery service
* Caring for all unassigned patients who present to the OB Unit or Emergency Room
* Triage of all patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted
* When requested, assist in cesarean deliveries
* Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults & actions when requested
* Level III maternity center
* Level III NICU
* 24hr dedicated OB anesthesia

Call Schedule: dedicated on-site call coverage with frequency and responsibilities as noted above
