Laboratory Assistant/Laboratory Processor

York Hospital in York, Maine is currently seeking a Full-time, 40 hour per week, Monday through Friday from 6:30/7:30 am to 3:00/4:00 pm with rotating Saturdays as required. The Laboratory Processor is responsible for performing a variety of functions, ultimately creating an exceptional patient experience by fulfilling our patient's laboratory needs. May be asked to float to secondary location. This position is a lab processing role. Please do not submit without processing experience.Some essential duties include:Processing blood tubes and other sample typesPreparing samples for shipment to other laboratoriesPhlebotomy Registering Drop-off samples from Physician PracticesWe require a High School diploma. Previous phlebotomy experience is required. Previous processing is also required. COVID AND FLU VACCINATIONS ARE MANDATED BY THE STATE OF MAINE. RELIGIOUS EXEMPTIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30/7:30 to 3:00/4:00 pm, no call, also weekend rotation as required, a Saturday only.
