SUMMARY: Responsible for providing nursing services to assigned student(s) in the co-curricular activity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other appropriate duties may be assigned.)
? Maintain health and nursing services records for student(s)
? Identify school health problems and inform staff members and administration as necessary
? Dispense prescribed medication and health services as directed by a physician order
? Provide care for first aid, accidents, and illnesses
? Complete state required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
? Serve as the liaison between parent(s) and the district on all health related matters related to assigned student(s)
? Other duties as assigned by administration

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ? LPN or RN active PA license is required.
? CPR/First Aid active certification is required.
? Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
? Ability to communicate orally and in writing
? Must have the ability to report to work based on the needs of the student(s) participating in the cocurricular activity
? Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
? Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.
