Job Summary
* Under direct supervision by the RN performs delegated clinical or laboratory procedures.
* Monitor, set-up & maintain the operations of clinical equipment.
* Record & document vital signs.
* Stock & maintain inventory of specialized areas.
* Transport patients to & from designated locations.
* Assist with admitting & discharge procedures.
* Perform other related duties as assigned under the direction and supervision of the RN.

Required Qualifications*
* Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
* Progressive knowledge in methods, procedures, materials and equipment of designated area is necessary.
Physical Requirements
* This position requires moderate standing/walking, as well as lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients.
Desired Qualifications*
* 6 months experience in skilled long-term facility/ acute care hospital or
* Volunteer work of the equivalent of 1 year or experience short-term care facility (i.e. rehab) or
* Enrollment in pre-PA or pre-MA program track or
* Completion of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program or
* ADN (Associate Nursing Degree) program.
