Staff Pharmacist - Pharmacy

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to our community.

Responsibilities

* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
* Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
* Perform medication therapy management (MTM) services.
* Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
* Oversee and train pharmacy technicians.
* Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

* Completion of a 4-year course at an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm. D. degree
* At least two years hospital pharmacy experience preferred or has completed an ASHP accredited residency.
* Microsoft Office Common Drug Information Software.
* Current CA Pharmacist Licensure required.
* Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.
