Summary

* House Supervisor - extension of management when they are not onsite. This includes throughput, colleague relations, escalations to admin on call, critical thinking, provider relations, subject matter expert for critical situations, incident commander until more appropriate upline onsite, bed coordinator, staffing coordinator, safety and quality reviewer
* Selling points: 4 House Supervisors currently that serve in nursing administration. Team has strong sense of autonomy and a positive work culture
* Requirements: must have critical care experience (ICU or ED). This is a position for someone who demonstrates a want for personal and professional growth
* Schedule: FT night shift (3x12). Must be able to work every other weekend rotation at this time, but currently reviewing schedule for better balance

Provides shift coordination across departments within the nursing division to promote continuity of patient care by assuring compliance with medical and nursing orders, coordinating patient placement, monitoring nursing activities and channeling selected information. Addresses issues outside of nursing, as needed, to ensure patient, staff and visitor concerns are resolved.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

1 year Nursing experience is required

Leadership experience preferred

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required

Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

ACLS, NRP, and PALS required as per local affiliate guidelines
