PT - Branch Teller

At Community Savings, our bank tellers do more than handle money. They establish relationships with our valued customers. They hold an important role as the first impression when clients visit our bank. People trust us to handle their financial transactions with the utmost care and attention to detail. To continue this tradition of providing clients with the best-in-class service and accountability, we're looking for a qualified bank teller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with banking processes, money management, a digital first mindset, and customer service experience. This candidate must be trustworthy and precise so that our reputation as a trusted bank is reinforced in the community. This is a part-time role with expected weekly working hours to be between 20-30 hours.

Objectives

* Serve customers by managing documents, information and financial transactions in a organized, efficient and secure manner.
* Build awareness of new products and services while identifying customer financial needs and goals.
* Meet and exceed bank service standards, greeting and acknowledging each customer to make them feel welcome, while complying with bank policy and procedures.
* Work with other team members to complete daily tasks while demonstrating respect, professionalism, being prompt, and supporting management as needed.

Responsibilities

* Handle customer transactions to include but not limited to: Check Cashing, Deposits, Withdrawals, Transfers, Loan Payments, Cashier Checks, Debit Cards, Stop Payments, etc.
* Identify and uncover customer financial goals and needs, provide information on products and services, direct customers to branch bankers as needed.
* Reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
* Provide a high level of customer service while, offering assistance with a positive attitude.

Required Skills

* High School Diploma or GED
* 1-2 Years of Cash Handling Experience
* 1-2 Years of Sales Experience (Cross Sell and/or recommending products)
* Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency
* Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
* Ability to work branch operating hours, including Saturdays.
