Job specification
- Lead and manage nursing staff in the Emergency Services unit, including recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate patient care within the emergency department, ensuring compassionate, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource management, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation standards related to emergency care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient flow and optimize emergency care delivery.
Candidate requirements
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in an emergency care setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) is preferred.
