Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001:2015 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 35 years' of experience in the Federal, military, and commercial marketplaces. SRI is seeking a LMR Technician with an active Secret clearance.

Overview: The LMR Technician provides support to include installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance and provides LMR support to ensure telecommunications are fully operational in support of the Network Enterprise Center at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Additional support may be provided to the Avaya VoIP phone system (Avaya CM6.3, 8700, G550). This is a full-time position, but qualified individuals who prefer part-time will be considered.

Responsibilities:

* Programs all radio variables into the LMR System to include setting priority levels, interconnect capabilities, time allotments, and site authorizations
* Evaluates subscriber units by reading unit data, research radio variables, and determine capabilities
* Maintains a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for meeting the requirements of the LMR end users; current/annual events (Exercises, etc.), special events or future military exercises
* Maintains procedures for warranty or routine maintenance required on infrastructure and runs standard tests to evaluate the entire system for proper operation and reliability
* Monitors and track radio system maintenance programs and radio subscriber repair(s)
* Manages all databases associated with the trunking radio system including maintaining the fleet map, radio identification, and spare parts
* Provides system and subscriber unit training as needed for the NEC staff and end users
* Provides new customer orientation training on system operation as needed and provide guidance on integration between talk groups and procedures on obtaining authority to share resources
* Training shall include both formal and informal training methods (i.e. formal classroom training and on-the job training)including but not limited to the system management terminal (SMT), key management facility (KMF), consoles, subscriber units, interoperability gateway, repeater functions and all features/functions of the system to include Over-the-air-rekeying (OTAR)
* Additional duties include support for, dispatching of trouble repair ticket, processing telephone work orders, clearing out trouble tickets, and work orders
* May also perform administrative, operations and maintenance (O&M) functions, and routines required on Inside Plant (ISP) systems and equipment, including telephone switching equipment, voice mail system, Telephone Management System (TMS), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) programming, firewall and other ancillary equipment and systems directly connected to the switch.
* Performs routine preventative maintenance on switch hardware and equipment.
* May assist with work order and trouble ticket administration within the Telephone Management System (TMS).
* Maintains safe work environment and conditions by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
* Provides other duties as assigned to support contract requirements.
* Attends training sessions as required (DoD, Information Assurance, Security, Corporate).

Minimum Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:

* High school diploma
* Five years of LMR experience on maintenance, installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems
* Knowledge and experience programming and troubleshooting Land Mobile Radios.
* (Preferred) Knowledge and experience with Avaya and VoIP communications systems
* Requires CompTIA Security + baseline certification
* Detailed orientated and highly efficient organizational skills
* Effective oral and written communication skills

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance based on a favorable T3/NACLC or higher investigation
