DEXA Technician

The DEXA Technician performs a variety of technical work related to the taking and processing of x-ray films and work relative to the department's scope of activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

* Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT).
* California Radiologic Technologist upon hire or
* California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Bone Densitometry Permit upon hire.
* National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
* National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
* National Registered Technologist - Bone Densitometry upon hire.
* Experience as a DEXA Technician; 2 years preferred.
