McConway & Torley is looking for a Mechanic Career. As a Mechanic Career you will provide assistance to production crews in mechanical and machine operations, building and facilities and associated equipment.

Location: Kutztown, PA

Shift: Second shift

What You'll Do:

* With readily available technical guidance, keep mobile equipment in good repair.
* Respond in a timely manner to work orders and management requests.
* Examine a variety of machines to diagnose trouble and recommend repair.
* Dismantle mobile equipment, replace defective parts, reassemble mobile equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
* Assist more experienced maintenance mechanics as assigned.
* Follow all safety regulations and company policies regarding safety.
* Work around a wide variety of equipment, chemicals and machinery; must be aware of safety hazards at all times.
* Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned.
* Available to work any and all shifts.

What You'll Need:

* At least one year of experience
* High school diploma

Working Conditions:

* Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
* This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
* Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

* Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
* Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
