**Join an Experienced Orthopedic Hand Surgery Physician**

CHI Health Department of Orthopedics seeks a Physician Assistant to join our extremely productive Orthopedic Surgery Trained, Fellowship Trained Hand Surgeon, who continues to build a busy practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to help grow our physician's practice, combining the aspects of clinical work and operating room time focusing on hand/wrist injuries and procedures at one or more of our clinics and hospital locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical and or procedural setting being able to practice autonomously and as part of a team seeing patients of the physician.

Weekly responsibilities, along with operating room assistance, will be providing dedicated services to an acute hand/wrist injury walk-in clinic, seeing post operative patients healing from various fractures, sprains, dislocations, tendon and nerve damage. Operating room experiences is not a requirement as our physician is willing to mentor and spend time teaching the qualified candidate with clinical experience.

The position also offers extremely lucrative pay, 401K, light call, dedicated CME time and money, very generous time off, full health, dental, vision and malpractice insurance.

**Responsibilities**

+ Patient Care:

+ Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

+ Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

+ Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

+ Communication:

+ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

+ Provide clear and concise medical information.

+ Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

+ Documentation:

+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

+ Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

+ Diagnostic Procedures:

**Qualifications**

+ American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty

+ A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible

**Pay Range**

$1.00 - $2.00 /hour
