An ideal candidate demonstrates a strong understanding of the treatment of co-occurring disorders, family systems, and will possess strong relational qualities. This position works closely with the clinical and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the day-to-day clinical care is aligned with agency philosophy and treatment outcome goals.

This position is an essential contributor to supporting the continuum of care Crossroads is nationally recognized for.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provides individual, group, and/or family clinical therapy
  • Participates in weekly clinical team meetings and rounds
  • Completes proper documentation according to agency and licensing standards utilizing the organization's electronic health record (EHR)
  • Develops and maintains positive internal and external professional relationships
  • Participates in agency, program, external meetings, and committees as assigned
  • Represents, supports, and communicates Crossroad's philosophy and mission
  • Attends program team meetings and provides support, feedback, and direction to the program staff
  • Models and supports the values and commitments of the organization

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling or related area
  • Clinical Licensure - State of Maine licensed clinician, LCSW, LCPC, LMSW-C, LCPC-C, or ability to obtain a Maine clinical license
  • Experience working in a clinical settings
  • Experience in the treatment of Co-occurring Substance Use and Eating Disorders & Trauma - Strong Eating Disorder experience is preferred
  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Maturity and professionalism, with a sincere desire to work with recovering individuals
  • Experience and comfort with using electronic health records, email, and office software programs, a high degree of competency in clinical documentation and time efficiency is strongly required
