We are currently searching for a Patient Services Specialist - Physical Therapy to join our team at our OrthoCarolina Ballantyne office location. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm, Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

The Patient Services Specialist greets patients, prepares forms, collects, verifies and enters patient information into EPIC necessary for the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.

* Prepares paper work necessary for the patient visit.


* Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs Cashier duties as directed including posting of charges,


* Collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due.


* Follows the process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested.

Education required:

* High school graduate
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience required:

* Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.
* Good customer and computer skills and working knowledge of insurance.
* Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
