Responsibilities

Provide behavioral health counseling services.

* Conduct patient assessments and establishe therapy treatment goals.
* Administer individual and group therapy.
* Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
* Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
* Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
* Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* One or more of the following required:
* Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
* Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
* Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
* Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
* Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


* BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
* Supervisor credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services preferred.

Education:

* High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Teaching experience, counselor experience with pediatrics and adults is highly desired.

Open to PHD, MSW and PSYe candidates.
