Responsibilities:

  • The Laboratory Support Specialist provides technical support for laboratory operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the research laboratory.
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cleanrooms and equipment.
  • Assembling, configuring, and maintaining equipment for use in tests and experiments.
  • Operating equipment, preparing chemical solutions, and performing analytical tests as assigned.
  • Recording test results and maintaining records as instructed.
  • Complying with all safety and operational procedures and policies.
  • Collecting and organizing samples, inspecting incoming specimens, and coordinating with researchers for appointments.
  • Performing administrative tasks as needed.
  • Training new employees on lab equipment and procedures.
  • Maintaining confidentiality standards in regard to research data.
  • Organizing samples, labeling them accurately, and recording the results timely on the system.
  • Ensuring that all the laboratory tools and equipment are sterilized and well-maintained, avoiding possible contaminations that may affect the accuracy of deliverable.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field 2+ years of Experience Strong Analytic/Troubleshooting Skills.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Strong Customer Support Skills.
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Fully Business English fluent and Local Working experience operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment In-depth knowledge of QHSE management systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
