Job Description:

  • The Homologation Specialist is the in-house regulatory requirements lead for various systems and components. This Specialist must evaluate designs and create a certification plan.
  • They assist engineering in the development of systems as well as assist in negotiation with foreign government(s) to accept compliance documentation from the organization and suppliers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Team members are expected to establish effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with our internal and external partners.
  • Sound judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence change are a must.

Requirements:
  • Looking for candidates with Electrical or software (or both) background
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university. Other Engineering degrees with combined experience will be considered.
  • Minimum THREE (3) years of engineering experience
  • Experience in systems and sub-systems with Electrical, RF, Chassis , Exterior and interior engineering release experience.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of the global regulations that cover the Safety/Impact, Chassis or Electrical regulations and work with, and lead, cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, legal, witness agency and labs) to ensure successful compliance testing completion prior to defined due dates

Additional Must Haves:
  • Automotive regulatory background, program management and automotive testing
