Responsibilities

* Prepare patients for scanning
* Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered
* Provide accurate explanations and instructions
* Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
* Monitor the patient's physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
* Perform any and all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in CT scan
* Active and current New Jersey State License-NJDEP Radiologic Technologist
* Maintains CEU Credits
* American Registry of Radiology Technologist (A.R.R.T.) certification
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

* Associate's degree is Applied Science
