Temp Receptionist

We are seeking an upbeat and friendly rockstar Temp Receptionist to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Amityville

**Please note: this is a fulltime, temp role. The temp period will be from approximately October/November - January/February. Schedule is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Please only apply if you can accomodate this timeframe. **

Responsibilities include:

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the facility in a warm, friendly and upbeat manner.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and
• material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, faxing

Qualified applicants must:

• Possess helpful, cheerful and friendly demeanor
• Maintain high level of professionalism
• Hospital, Nursing Home or Assisted Living experience preferred.
• Experience with SigmaCare preferred.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) experience.
