Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager/Supt. Designee, perform a variety of technical duties in support of human resources and payroll operations and activities; participate in the recruitment, screening, and processing of new certificated personnel; prepare and maintain a variety of manual and automated personnel files, records, and reports; input timesheet information and payroll information for certificated personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: •Perform a variety of technical duties in support of human resources and payroll operations and activities; assist with coordinating daily department activities and assure timely resolution of personnel-related issues and concerns. •Participate in the recruitment, screening, and processing of new certificated personnel; place advertisements as assigned, screen applications and contact candidates after selection; arrange interview and prepare packets for interviewers; set up various appointments; assure required paperwork is completed and send related documents to appropriate parties. •Input a variety of employee information and other personnel data into an assigned computer system; maintain automated employee records and files; generate a variety of computerized lists and reports; assure accuracy of input and output data. •Assist in collecting and inputting certificated personnel timesheet information into an assigned computer system according to established procedures; add hours and code timecards according to established procedures; verify hours, signatures, and authorizations; balance monthly and hourly payroll as assigned. •Assist in monitoring employee absences and maintain related records; update leave information and enter docks or adjustments into an assigned system. •Assist with the hiring process for substitute teaching personnel; verify necessary online training has been completed and assure appropriate paperwork is completed for new and re-hires.
