Home Helpers of Lake Country needs a great part-time caregiver for an female client with dementia in Hartland

Cares include: mobility assistance, dressing/bathing assistance, homemaking, medication reminders, and companionship.

Shifts are 12:30pm-4:30pm. 

This client is incredibly sweet, quiet, and kind. Her cares include companionship, assistance with feeding, light housekeeping & laundry. She does use a Hoyer lift and needs assistance with toileting, but the facility staff helps with these more skilled cares.

Looking for M-F availability between 8AM-6PM, 8AM-2PM or 2PM-6PM with alternating weekends. Great for someone looking to work within typical "office hours."

Responsibilities:


  • One-on-One care assisting seniors in their homes with the things such as,
    • getting dressed
    • showering or bathing safely
    • toileting
    • ambulation
    • meal prep
    • light housekeeping
    • other daily activities
  • Companionship with seniors and helping them enjoy life by doing the things they enjoy such as,
    • playing cards
    • baking cookies
    • watching a movie
    • talking about their life events
    • going on walks
    • taking them on outings
