Long Term Care Pharmacist - Final Reviewer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced long-term care pharmacist for a temporary position with the critical function of final review. This essential role involves validating prescriptions and ensuring that what is prescribed aligns with what is being dispatched. Additional responsibilities include assisting the pharmacy manager with scheduling, participating in pharmacy projects as required, and providing flexibility for shift coverage.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in WEST PALM BEACH, Florida.

Work Environment

The selected candidate will join a team of dedicated pharmacy professionals in a closed-door, long-term care shipping pharmacy, where there's no interaction with the public or cash handling. This role serves the tri-county area, with the working shift typically from 9 am to 6 pm (sometimes 11 am to 7:30 pm). The position requires working at least 4 days a week, sometimes 5, with weekend coverage once fully trained. This is a 12-week temporary position.
