Is an ambassador of Deaconess, cultivating a nurturing atmosphere of courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity and optimism. As a Patient Access Intake Specialist, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess. What you will need To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and must clearly demonstrate each of the competencies. The education/experience, certifications, skills, physical demands, and work environment further define requirements associated with this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education and Experience Completion of High School or GED required. College degree desired. Knowledge of health care revenue cycle preferred. Understanding of insurance is a plus.
