The Department of Psychology at East Tennessee State University seeks qualified instructors to fill several part-time positions teaching Psychology courses beginning Spring 2022 with some opportunity to extend to other semesters.

The successful candidates' primary duties will be to teach undergraduate Psychology courses. The department has a specific desire for candidates to teach Introduction to Psychology, Design and Analysis I (research methods), Design and Analysis II (statistics), Sensation and Perception, and Introduction to Personality courses. These will be primarily on-ground courses on either the main campus in Johnson City or the Allandale campus in Kingsport. Priority will be given to those candidates who are available to teach face-to-face courses.

These are temporary positions, filled on a semester-by-semester basis with some opportunity for renewal; positions do not include benefits.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Qualifications

Master's degree and eighteen (18) graduate hours in Psychology, or related field by employment start date.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching experience is desired but not necessary.
