Hours: per diem

Shift: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Location: Fairhaven Cancer Center - Fairhaven, MA

Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Pharmacy Oncology or designee, perform a variety of professional services and responsibilities related to the clinical review and dispensing of outpatient chemotherapy. Serve as a resource for nurses, physicians and other clinicians who participate in the management of hematology, oncology and other patients receiving care at Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care. Provide technical direction and supervision of assigned personnel. Communicate with patients and other health care professionals to optimize medication therapy.

Qualifications

* A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy is required.
* A Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy is required.
* Experience working in USP 797 environment and knowledgeable about scale usage and maintenance is required.
* Previous oncology experience is preferred.
* One (1) year of related experience is preferred. Consideration is given to new graduates.
* Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $54.15 - USD $68.19 /Hr.
