airCFO tax team was formed in late 2019 and has been experiencing fast and steady growth. We are looking for various levels of client-facing tax accountants to fulfill the demand. Whether you just started a U.S. tax accountant career or have a few years of experience under your belt, we are interested in chatting with you

  •  Tax Compliance & Reporting
    • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax forms and schedules for US business entities.
    • Apply GAAP and IRC to analyze financial information and ensure compliance.
  •  Tax Research & Audits
    • Conduct R&D credit studies, respond to IRS and state audits, and handle tax notices.
    • Prepare and review state income tax nexus studies.
  • State & Loca Tax Filings
    • Prepare state and local tax filings, including franchise and business tax returns.
    • Support state and city registrations and ad hoc tax projects.
  • Client Management & Tax Strategy
    • Propose and implement tax strategies while managing multiple client engagements.
    • Coordinate with clients and external parties to deliver timely, accurate tax returns.
  • Team Leadership & Operations
    • Coach and manage junior staff, ensuring adherence to standardized procedures.
    • Collaborate across service lines to develop integrated service packages.

You’ve had the following experiences in your career

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA or EA preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of U.S. business tax experience; public accounting and startup client experience preferred.
  • Proficient with CCH Axcess and research tools; broad tax experience (C Corps, S Corps, partnerships, international tax compliance, multistate tax).
  • Comfortable working in a fully-distributed startup environment.
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a distributed team.
