Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Rehabilitation

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night Shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend rotation

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of rehab and med-surg experience preferred

License: RN licensure required

Certifications: RN licensure

Must-Have:
- Rehab
- Med-surg experience

Job Description:

- Provide specialized therapy services to individuals experiencing a loss of function due to injury or illness.
- Participate in customized rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to maximize the health, function, and quality of life for patients.
- Manage patient care tasks and resource utilization within a 40-bed hospital specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- Ensure high standards of nursing care and patient outcomes in a CARF-accredited environment.
- Utilize Epic for electronic health records and documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a supportive environment for patient recovery.
- Must possess great customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
