Job Description:

Pay Range: $30.71hr - $35.71hr

Responsibilities:
  • Execution of small scale experiments, working with eggs and flu virus.
  • Support and assist production of high growing flu virus reassortants, flu reference antigen, and antisera.
  • Running hemagglutination testing, SDS-PAGE, SRID, and chromatography.
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies and materials and shipping materials as needed.
  • Working with outside vendors as needed.
  • Shipping biological samples for sequencing.
  • Writing internal development protocols and reports related to projects.
  • Sample management between labs, manufacturing buildings, and analytical sciences department.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends as needed.
  • Working in a fast-paced team environment requiring multitasking ability.
  • Focus on Site Safety.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree required; science/biology field preferred.
  • 1+ years of laboratory experience.
  • Experience working with influenza virus, SDS-PAGE, and chromatography is a plus.
