Responsibilities

* Provide personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care.
* Prepare residents for meals and assist to and from the dining room.
* Assist residents with meal set up and eating.
* Assist residents with toilet and incontinence care.
* Perform vital signs, B/Ps, weights, and other trained procedures as directed by Supervisor.
* Provide daily light housekeeping services, such as emptying trash, dusting, bed making, and other items as required in the resident apartments.
* Assist as directed in proper admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, inventory resident possessions, and report defective equipment to administration.
* Foster teamwork and have a positive impact on team members, residents, and visitors.

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older or have a certificate to work.
* Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Completion of training program for certification; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
* CPR certified (If not we can provide training)
* Experience in long-term care is preferred.
* Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering basic first aid and resident care.
* Good physical and mental health; neat, clean, well-groomed, and responsible.
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
