Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This position requires excellent telephone etiquette, the ability to handle multiple calls efficiently, and the ability to maintain strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment. The specialist will be responsible for providing customer support, handling inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate order management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle multiple telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Provide excellent verbal and written communication support for customer inquiries.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to manage a high volume of tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, especially in potentially frustrating or high-pressure situations.
  • Identify Client products by major product groupings and become familiar with product lines of other divisions.
  • Participate in departmental 24-hour emergency "on-call" service as required.
  • Work during some holidays as needed to support customer service operations.
  • Enter data accurately at 7000 KDPH with 95% accuracy (required for order entry and inquiries).
  • Use ZDCS (Client Data Collection System) for order entry, maintenance, invoicing, item/order status, and customer service inquiries.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Livelink for maintaining accurate records and correspondence.
  • Type at least 40 words per minute with 95% accuracy.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in customer service, especially over the phone.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining professionalism.
  • Previous PC experience, including proficiency with both alpha and numeric keyboards.
  • Ability to enter data quickly and accurately at a rate of 7000 KDPH with 95% accuracy.
  • Must be able to work during holidays and participate in emergency "on-call" service.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of ZDCS for order entry, maintenance, invoicing, and customer service inquiries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Livelink.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with 95% accuracy.
