* A minimum 1-3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment; vocational training may be considered in lieu of experience.
* High School diploma is required.
* Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical).
* Perform annual certifications and inspections.
* Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Service equipment correctly on the first attempt as required and avoid unnecessary down-time.
* Service equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop.
* Dismantles and reassembles/ rebuilds equipment.
* Diagnoses standard mechanical equipment problems.
* Fabricate parts as needed to meet needs.
* Perform safety inspections on equipment.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment (service truck or shop work station).
* Perform maintenance on company vehicle fleet.
* Perform maintenance on jobsites.
* Service orders should be completed accurately and concisely, use of computer when applicable.
* Operate equipment.
* Maintain parts inventory.
