What does a Fleet Technician do at Swire Coca Cola?

This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road

Shift Details:

2:00pm - 11:00pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities

* Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements
* Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
* Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules
* Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics
* Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

* High School Diploma (or GED) required
* ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic preferred
* 2+ diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required
* Own set of tool set and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools
