Fast paced cardiology practice. Candidate will assist with rooming patient's for visit with provider. Supervise cardiac testing. Support NMT with scheduled patients. Obtain vitals, this includes manual blood pressures and EKG. Reconcile medications in EMR system and place orders. Candidate will assist with other duties (ie: answering phones, scheduling appointments, check in/ check out, calling patients with results, prescription refills, prior authorizations, and placing of Holter Monitors and Six Minute Walks).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Performs and interprets EHS under the direct supervision of supervisors.
* Review charts prior to beginning test. Discusses concerns with physicians.
* Educates, listens, and responds to patients needs during testing.
* Assists with back-office duties as needed within the practice.
* Communicates patient results under physician.
* Uses the electronic medical record as documented in the department and/or FPI standard operating procedure and processes.
* Completes mandatory employee health, workers compensation, HR processes and other training and requirements in required time frame to ensure compliance with all FPI rules and regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Knowledge in EKG's, certification preferred.
* CPR (BLS) certification is required.
