The Lead Radiology Technologist performs X-Ray scans of patient's internal anatomy to aid physicians in
diagnosing illnesses, diseases, or injuries. Executes radiologic services in compliance with relevant laws
and regulations and provides consultation advice to patients and radiology professionals. Delivers
patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Assists department
management with administrative and leadership duties as assigned, including quality assurance, training,
scheduling, and mentoring staff radiology technologists, and may act in a supervisory capacity in the
absence of the regular supervisor.

Elkins Park: Responsible for all modalities.

Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current
validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R). ARRT (R), (CT) Preferred.
AND
Experience:
3+ years' experience preferred
Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Registration and continued certification through the ARRT

Conditions of Employment

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.

Conditions of Employment

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
