**Responsibilities**

**_Per Diem Registered Nurse Cath Lab_**

**Position Summary:**

Mercy San Juan Medical Center Cath Lab Services performs about 2500 procedures a year in our 3 Cath Lab rooms. We are an accredited chest pain center and perform peripheral and cardiac procedures.

The incumbent provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum:**

+ Minimum one (1) year critical care RN experience within the last three (3) years.

+ Will consider 1 year Level I and/or Level II ED RN experience in lieu of critical care experience within the last 3 years.

+ Candidates must have cardiac rhythms and basic cardiac hemodynamics and anatomy training

+ Current CA RN license

+ Current AHA BLS and ACLS

+ Ability to wear lead aprons for an extended length of time during procedures

+ Other certifications may be required

+ Call required

**Preferred:**

+ Cardiac Cath Lab experience

**Pay Range**

$82.88 - $82.88 /hour
