A certified medication aide is a certified nursing assistant (CNA) responsible for administering daily medication to patients in a hospital or medical facilityTheir duties include monitoring patients, reporting changes, and collecting samples They provide routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients whose condition and drug regimen are stable They require at least a high school diploma or GED to attend the certification training and exam for this position.The job responsibilities of a certified medication aide include4:

* Delivering the medicine and providing information about it to the patients as per the prescription or direction from the physician.
* Communicating with the patient's health and coordinating with other nurses to assist with patient care and procedures.
* Following the verbal and written instructions from the physician.
